Letter of the above date from our management committee is sent to GM of i-CLUB. Text is as follows.
Dear GM
We refer to our visit to the i-Club on the 29th August 2011 and the 28th October 2011.
At our meeting on the 29th August 2011, you agreed to install double glazing along the glass section facing our property and where the highest volume of noise had been detected. In fact you indicated a date by which the installation would be completed (late September), which led us to believe you had placed an order. Prior to the installation of the double glazing, you agreed to have a sound engineer review your sound system and reduce the level of noise to an acceptable level when measured by a decibel detector. Improvement was noticed, but unfortunately we can still hear a background hum and a most distracting and debilitating beat from your bass.
We arranged a follow-up visit on the 28th October 2011 to once again voice our concern regarding your inability to lower the noise emitting from your club and in particular the bass.
During our visit on the 28th October 2011, we asked to be shown the double glazing installation, only to be told it had not been done due to the high cost. You also asked to be given the 28th, 29th and 30th night to adjust the volume and the bass. Regrettably there has been no improvement. In fact it has got worse. Excuse us, but it seems you are deliberately testing our patience.
GM, we expect you to take positive action to reduce the level of sound emitting from your club, including turning volumes down, reducing the bass and installing double glazing as you previously agreed.
If you do not comply, we will have no option but to employ all remedies open to us.
