I have had to spend the last three nights in my spare room. For some reason, GM and the i-CLUB have decided to increase the bass levels again, and are continuing to ignore our text messages.
Last night the strength of the bass was such that it vibrated. CX experienced it worse. It is disappointing that you have chosen not to respond to her emails.
I ask again. What does your organisation intend to do about this situation? I really do NOT want to have you reply that you will 'discuss' with GM. Unacceptable, insufficient, and pointless.
Tan Sri [Group Managing Director/Group Chief Executive] and [General Manager, Commercial Leasing & Sale, Mah Sing Group], what will Mah Sing Group be doing to correct this situation? Or is it something that you cannot control? If the latter, I am very interested in all the reason why not.

CX: I lived in NYC for 5+ yrs. A club that
disturbed its neighbors would never succeed. The city would fine them until the
club closed or abided by city laws. I pray KL can do the same.

I am copied on DBKL’s report of action
against noise interference from the i-CLUB. It appears that the club is
licensed only as a ‘Pub and Bar (NO ENTERTAINMENT)’ but there is clear evidence
of entertainment (live band performance) on stage, and a wealth of photos
posted attest to this.
The club is issued a written notice (dated
02 Feb) compelling them to stop any such activities within 24 hours, after
which DBKL will continue surveillance. Failure to comply would result in
enforcement actions including the seizure of entertainment equipment by DBKL at
any time.

I receive a call from DBKL. Their team is
on the roof of my building taking readings. They request a visit to my unit to
do the same and arrive within minutes. Sound levels are unusually low for a
Friday night, which we attribute to the simultaneous presence of a DBKL team at
the club. However, soft audible bass is acknowledged. I suggest they press
their ears to the wall, and the team appear astonished that the thump of bass
can be so easily detected.
They leave with assurances that monitoring
will continue.
